2. Important safety instructions
Caution - Danger of burns! The housing and lid get very hot
during use. Only handle the appliance using the handles and
buttons provided.
3. Do not move the appliance while switched on or while hot liquids
are contained within.
Caution - Danger of burns! Do not overfill the water tank.
Boiling water can spurt out.
Caution - Danger of burns! Do not open the lid while the
appliance is switched on.
Caution - Danger of burns! Do not lean over the appliance
while in use. There is rising heat above the lid.
Caution - Danger of burns! Be careful when opening the lid
after use. The steam escaping from the appliance is very hot.
Caution - Danger of burns! Do not use the appliance without
the filter. Boiling water can spurt out.
4. Do not fill the appliance while it is placed on the base.
5. Only use fresh and cold drinking water. Do not use liquids other
then water.
6. Ensure that the water level is always between the “MAX” and “MIN”
marking. Otherwise boiling water could spurt out and/or damage
the appliance.
7. Never use the appliance without water.
8. Do not leave water in the water tank for prolonged periods of time.
2.3 Mains connection
1. The voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance must
correspond with your mains voltage.
2. The mains plug is used as a disconnecting device. Ensure that the
mains plug is always easily accessible. Only the mains plug can
disconnect the appliance from the mains supply completely.
