Warning - Risk of electric shock!
Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse
electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product
under running water.
Warning - Property damage!
When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp
objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive
cleaning products and tools may scratch the surface(s).
1. Clean the product’s exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
2. Carefully remove the fat collection container (11) from the product (Fig. 6). Empty and clean the fat
collection container (11) after each use. Rinse it with hot water and a mild dishwashing liquid.
3. Use paper towels to remove excess fat before removing the grilling plates.
4. To remove the grilling plates (3, 15), push on the locking knobs (12, 16) on the upper and lower
casing. Remove the grilling plates from the product (Fig. 7 and Fig. 8).

5. Use the spatula (2) to remove fat or food residue from between the ridges on the grilling plates.
Ensure that the grilling plates are cooled off before using the spatula (2). Attention! Never use the
spatula (2) on hot grilling plates!
6. Clean the grilling plates (3, 15) and fat collection containers (11) with a soft cloth or sponge and hot,
soapy water. Soak the grilling plates for a short time in hot, soapy water in order to remove food
residue. This will loosen persistent residue and fat. Rinse the grilling plates with clear water after
cleaning.
Note
Grill plates, fat collection container and spatula can be washed in a dishwasher.
7. Use a damp cloth or sponge and warm water with dishwashing liquid to clean the casing of the
product.
