Important warnings
*Read the following instruction carefully before using machine for the first time.
*Do not use the machine without water; doing so will burn out the pump.
*The power cord must not come into contact with any of the hot surfaces of the machine.
*Do not put the appliance on top of, or close to, any source of heat.
*Before connecting the appliance to A/C power, check that the voltage of the machine (indicated
on the data plate found underneath the machine) corresponds to that of the A/C power supply.
*Use of extension cords not authorised by the appliance’s manufacturer may cause damage,
injuries and accidents.
*Never aim the jet of steam or hot water towards any part of the body; handle the steam/hot water
pipe with caution since there is a high danger of burning yourself!
*In the event of faults, defects or a suspected defect due to dropping the appliance, immediately
unplug the appliance from the wall. Never put the defective appliance into operation.
* ONLY AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTERS CAN MAKE REPAIRS . The manufacturer
declines all responsibility for any damage caused by repair jobs performed incorrectly by
unauthorised service centers.
*Do not use carbonated/fizzy water (charged with carbon dioxide )
*Remove the plug from the A/C outlet before any cleaning or maintenance operation.
*Do not leave the machine at an ambient temperature less than 0

C because the residue of water
in the boiler could turn into ice and can damage the machine.
*Disconnect the appliance from the A/C outlet before filling the water tank.
*This appliance is for domestic use only.
*Never leave the machine in operation within the reach of children.
*If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an Authorised Service
Center, or by a person with similar qualifications so as to minimize risks.
*Do not touch the exterior of the filter basket nor the small metal steam pipe when the appliance is
in operation; doing so may cause burns.
*Never leave the power cable coiled-up in its seat during use; unwind it completely.
*After disconnecting the power plug and after all the hot parts have cooled down, the appliance
must be cleaned with a non-abrasive detergent only (never use solvents, which could damage the
paint).
* DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
*This appliance is in conformity with Directive 89/336 EEC, regarding electromagnetic
compatibility.
