(GB) TVF 09 B – Boosted Indoor Antenna
Before using your device, please read the safety
and operating instructions carefully. Only then you will
be able to use all the functions safely and reliably. Keep
this manual safe and pass it on to any subsequent user.
Intended use
With the universal indoor antenna you can receive local
analogue and digital TV and radio programs.
Safety precautions
•
This device is suitable only for indoor use.
•
Do not use the aerial outdoors.
•
Always remove the device from the mains socket
before cleaning.
•
In the event of malfunction, have the device
repaired by a specialist.
Instructions
1.
Place the aerial on or near to the TV and/or radio
and/or set top box (DTT receiver).
2.
Connect the antenna cable, s. Fig. 1
To TV cable
,
to the back of your TV, recorder, set top box
and/or radio labeled “antenna input”.
N.B. For connecting a radio you might need an
IEC adapter. For connection of radio and TV or
Set Top Box you need extra 2 antenna cables
and a 2-way adapter (from your dealer), s. Fig. 2.
3.
AC power connection: Plug the power cord of the
antenna into a standard 230-240 V wall outlet. DC
Power connection, e.g. for caravan or boat use:
Plug-in a fitting DC connector from a universal
car/vehicle (cigarette lighter) adapter, e.g.
Vivanco CPA 801, into the
Power Input Jack
.
Make sure that the adapter is switched to 12 V
and the polarity is switched to tip = +.
Operation
In order to get the best possible picture and sound,
please proceed as follows:
1.
Switch on the amplifier of the aerial by turning the
Gain Control & ON/OFF
switch clockwise.
2.
VHF/FM analogue reception: Select a VHF TV
channel on your TV or a FM audio channel on
your radio and try various angles and lengths of
the telescopic
VHF Antenna
s until you get the
best reception.
3.
UHF analogue reception: Select an UHF TV
channel on your TV or a DAB FM audio channel
on your radio and try various rotation angles and
tilts of the ring
UHF Antenna
until you get the
best reception.
– Optimize sound and picture by turning the
Gain
Control
of the amplifier. When snow or rolls
appear on the TV screen the received signal
might be too strong. Then please adjust the signal
with the
Gain Control
until the distortions
disappear.
4.
Reception of digital terrestrial signals (DTT &
DAB): To obtain the best reception its necessary
that there are as less as possible obstacles
between the transmitter and the aerial. It is
recommended to place the aerial close to a
window, if needed use an optional antenna 75
Ω
extension cable. Set the
Gain Control
to
minimum, anti-clockwise, and increase the signal
until you get optimal reception on all digital
channels.
5.
In order to switch power off turn
Gain Control &
ON/OFF
switch anti-clockwise to
OFF

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Mit dieser Zimmerantenne können Sie lokale analoge
und digitale Fernseh- und Radioprogramme empfangen.
Sicherheitshinweise
•
Die Antenne ist nur in Innenräumen zu
verwenden.
•
Bitte die Antenne nicht im Freien oder in feuchten
Räumen benutzen.
•
Vor Reinigung bitte Netzstecker ziehen.
•
Bei eventuell auftretenden Störungen lassen Sie
das Gerät bitte vom Fachmann reparieren.
Aufstellen und anschließen
1.
Stellen Sie die Antenne auf oder in der Nähe
Ihres Fernsehers und/oder Radios und/oder des
DVB-T Receivers auf.
2.
Schließen Sie das Antennenkabel, s. Fig. 1

, an die Antenneneingangsbuchse "antenna
input” Ihres Fernsehers, Radios, Recorders oder
Digitalreceivers an. –
Hinweis: Zum Anschluss
eines Radios benötigen Sie u.U. einen IEC
Adapter.- Zum Anschluss von Radio und
Fernseher oder Set Top Box benötigen Sie
gemäß Fig. 2 einen 2 Wege-Antennenadapter
und 2 kurze Antennenkabel, die Sie im
Fachhandel erhalten.
3.
Netzanschluss: Das Netzkabel der Antenne
stecken Sie in eine 230 – 240 V Netzsteckdose.
Fahrzeugversorgung: z.B. im Wohnwagen oder
auf den Boot: Stecken Sie einen passenden
Hohlstecker eines universellen Fahrzeugnetz-
adapters für Zigarettenanzünderdosen, z, B.
Vivanco CPA 801R, in die Buchse

. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Adapter auf 12
V= gestellt und die Polarität auf + = Innen
eingestellt ist.
Bedienung
So erhalten Sie die beste Bild- und Tonqualität:
1.
Schalten Sie den Verstärker der Antenne ein,
indem Sie den Regler
Gain Control & ON/OFF
im Uhrzeigersinn drehen. S. Fig. 1.

2.
Analoger VHF/UKW Empfang: Schalten Sie am
Fernseher einen VHF-Kanal oder am Radio einen
UKW Kanal ein und variieren Sie die Länge und
die Winkel der Teleskopantennen
VHF Antenna
bis Sie den besten Empfang erhalten.
3.
Analoger UHF Empfang: Schalten Sie am
Fernseher einen UHF-Kanal oder einen Radio
