a. INSTALLING THE DVR WEB CLIENT BY CONNECTING TO A DVR
Provided that an internet connection is available on both where the DVR and
computer is, open up the internet explorer and enter the DVR’s IP address or
the host name. An internal IP address was entered to connect to the DVR in the
example above.
A small icon will appear on
the upper left corner of the
internet explorer verifying
the presence of the DVR
web client. If none present,
then an ActiveX security
warning dialog will open.
Click on Yes to download,
install, and run the DVR
web client.
b. INSTALLING THE DVR WEB CLIENT FROM THE PROGRAM CD
Insert the program CD into the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive of the computer
and locate dvrviewer_X_X_build_YYYYMMDD.exe, where X represents the
version number of the program and the YYMMDD represent the release date of
the DVR web client. Double-click on the file, which opens the setup dialog.
