Instructions on microwave oven grounding
–
The unit should be securely grounded. In
case of any short circuit grounding reduces
the risk of electric shock, because the current
will pass via the ground wire.
–
A power cord with a grounding wire and a
plug with a grounding contact are used in
the unit.
–
The plug should be connected to the socket
with a grounding contact.
–
For additional protection it is reasonable to
install a residual current device (RCD) with
nominal operation current not exceeding
30 mA. To install RCD contact a specialist.
Warning:
Using of plug with a grounding contact con-
nected to the socket without grounding can
lead to the risk of electric shock.
–
Consult a qualified electrician, if oven
grounding instructions are not completely
clear to you or if you are not sure that the unit
is securely grounded.
–
To prevent tangling of power cord the unit is
equipped with a short power cord.
–
If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use
only a 3-wire extension cord with a grounding
contact on the plug and the socket.
–
Wire section marking of the MWO cord and of
the extension cord should match.
–
The power cable of the extension cord should
not hang over the edges of the table, where
children can pull it and it should be placed
in such way that excludes possibility of step-
ping on it.
SETTING
•
Before switching the unit on, make sure that
the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
specified on the unit body.
•
Make sure that all packing materials are
removed from the oven cavity.
•
Do not remove the light-grey mica plate inside
the chamber at the microwave output point
(6), as it serves for magnetron protection.
Attention!
Make sure that the unit does not have
mechanical damages such as: bent or broken
door, broken or loose door hinges or blocking
system latches, dimples on the inner surface of
the oven cavity. If there is any damage usage of
the unit is prohibited.
•
Set the unit on a flat stable surface that will
bear its weight and max. weight of the prod-
ucts, that will be cooked in it.
•
Place the unit out of the reach of children.
•
Do not place the unit in places with high mois-
ture and temperature, and near inflammable
objects.
•
Proper ventilation is needed for normal oper-
ation of the unit.
•
Install the oven keeping at least a 7-8 cm gap
behind and on the sides of the oven and a 30
cm gap above the oven. Do not block ventila-
tion openings on the microwave oven body.
Do not remove legs from the bottom of the
oven.
•
Do not use the unit without the glass rotary
bottom plate (3), roller support (4) and the
roller ring (5).
•
Make sure that the power cord doesn’t have
any damages, doesn’t lie below the oven
and doesn’t touch any hot surfaces or sharp
edges of furniture.
ASSEMBLING OF THE MICROWAVE OVEN
After oven storage at low temperature or its trans-
portation in winter conditions it is necessary to
keep it unpacked for at least two hours at room
temperature before switching on.
–
Remove the package and the accessories
from the oven cavity.
–
Check the oven for damages. Pay special
attention to the condition of the door. If there
is any problem do not set and do not switch
the oven on.
