Connecting from a PC
To connect to the appliance from a terminal window on a PC:
1.
Open a Telnet terminal window (refer to MS instructions on how to enable Telnet for
Win OS).
2.
Connect to the ProHD BR-DE800 Decoder IP address.
3.
At the primary login prompt, type
"admin"
and when prompted for the first password,
type
"admin"
again
,
This password is fixed, but you can change it as described later in
this chapter
.
4.
At the secondary password prompt, type the same default password "
jvc1234
".
