10.3 Check of first-error safety by means of integrated locking function in the
handset
Proceed as follows to check the safety device:
The 4 switching positions are test settings which are only used for safety checks as part of the
annual inspection or after repair or before each re-use of the bed.
Move the lock to switching position I or II : First move all bed adjustments to a slightly raised
position.

Set the switch positions to test position Locking function 1 or 2 (|): No electrical adjustments must
be possible when the adjustment keys on the handset are pressed.
