The example below shows an installation in which a Vistek V1606 rack is being remotely controlled over a
long distance. Since the DART dongle (DIN 341) requires all modem control lines, COM1 has to be
configured for full modem support. If only one fibre link is available, a WDM or CWDM module can be used
on each end for multiplexing/de-multiplexing two distinct laser wavelengths.
