INSTRUCTIONS
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION REGULATIONS.
Our packaging is made using environmentally-friendly materials. Materials may be
recycled, and the packaging is made of cardboard.
If you wish to dispose of the package, please take care not to cause any damage to the
environment.
Warning! Any improper disposal of electric and electronic appliances may result in fines.
Used filters may be disposed of as household waste.
Important! If, as a consequence on prolonged use, the ash cleaner can no longer be
repaired, make sure that it is not disassembled until it can be disposed of without damaging
the environment.
USE
Carefully read all the safety rules before using the ash cleaner.
22.Place the ash cleaner on a flat surface.
23.Make sure that the cartridge filter is installed in its seat.
24.Connect the nozzle to the hose, then the hose to the housing.
25.Before sucking the ash, make sure it is completely cold.
26.Turn on the appliance by operating the switch.
27.Don’t suck any burning embers.
28.Don’t empty the tank into a flammable container.
29.Should the hose get excessively hot during use, turn off the appliance and let it cool down.
30.Suck the ash directly from the fireplace or from the stove. Keep the suction nozzle
approximately 1cm above the ash.
31.Should the suction power drop, turn off the motor, disconnect the appliance from the
power supply, then, after making sure that the motor is not running, clean the filter as
described in chapter “Maintenance and cleaning”. After cleaning the filter plug back the
appliance and resume suction.
32.For optimum use we recommend that you don’t suck more than 3kg of ash (wood or pellets).
33.We recommend that you clean the filter after every suction operation.
The air discharge nozzle may be used to blow air. To use this function connect the hose
to this nozzle.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Periodic maintenance is strictly recommended and is especially necessary when the flow
rate of the motor begins to decrease.
For cleaning, operate as follows:
•Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
•Release the can by slightly spreading the fixing tabs.
•Lift the motor head.
•Remove the filter from the housing. NOTE: it is fixed by interference; therefore you need
