DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE
Please check the contents of the packaging, which in addition to the
appliance should contain the following accessories:
• 1 power cable
• 1 stereo set of RCA cables

The characteristics of valve amplifiers have been
known for a long time. Their sound has its suppor-
ters in many hifi devices so they still very much
have a part to play these days although transistors
are much more robust and durable as amplifier
components. Even in audio source devices there
are amplifier circuits and with these too, the sound
can be greatly improved by sophisticated ampli-
fier circuitry. Today this approach is taken by only
a few selected manufacturers. The CD-S7 is intended to fill precisely this gap. It
uses a hybrid amplifier with transistors and valves.
A coaxial digital audio output and an adjustable
headphone output connection are additional fea-
tures of the equipment. A special property of this
player is the symmetrical XLR audio output. The
appearance of this device matches the other
audio components from Vincent’s tubeLine. In com-
bination with the tuner and the amplifier compo-
nents in this design line a system can be assem-
bled whose sound and manufacturing quality are
not common today.
