11) VIBRATION – AIRBORNE NOISE LEVELS
a) Vibration
The lift causes vibration in the passenger’s body and
limbs with the following characteristics:
- low frequency, very low acceleration;
- short exposure cycles for the exposed person.
This parameter is therefore insignificant for safety
purposes.
b) Airborne noise: less than 70 dBA
12) INFORMATION ON THE DISPOSAL OF
MATERIALS AND UNIT PARTS
a) Disposing of rubber and plastics
Place in clean containers and consign to disposal cen-
tres authorised under the relevant regulations.
b) Oil and toxic materials
The lift does not contain any oil or toxic materials for
disposal.
c) Disposing of batteries
Consign batteries to authorised disposal centres or
dispose of them in accordance with the relevant regula-
tions in the country where the stairlift is installed.
