5. Connect the conductors to the terminals. Make
sure you position the cables between the base
foams and the fixing plate to avoid the seeping of
water, dust, etc.
5.1 In case of external cable use:
- Thread the conductors through the dedicated hole in the
underside and connect them to the terminals; then seal
the cable passage with foam.
- Using pliers remove the pre-perforated sides to allow the
cables to pass through the side of the device.
6. Attach the base to the plate and tighten the locking
screws fully.
7. DETECTION AREA SETTING
7.1 Horizontal angle adjustment
• If an obstacle blocks the detection areas, a horizontal adjustment of between 0 and 3° is possible in order to avoid this
obstacle.
• The device’s detection technology (pulse count setting =2) envisages that both the upper and lower areas must be breached
simultaneously to generate the alarm. It is therefore necessary to make sure that both the areas are adjusted with the same
angle with respect to the wall for the detection to take place at the same time. We recommend you set the maximum sensi-
tivity (HI) when high sensitivity is required near the boundaries of the maximum detection area (12 m).
IMPORTANT: Avoid adjusting only the upper area or only the lower area separately. As mentioned above, the alarm is only
generated if both the areas detect a burglary; the horizontal angle must therefore be the same for both areas.
