1. GENERALS
1.1 Warnings
This product has been manufactured under strict technical safety rules in accordance with EC standards. The
CE declaration can be downloaded from the website (contact details on last page).
Before installing and using this product, please read these instructions carefully as they contain important infor-
mation for your safety and the safety of others during the installation, commissioning and maintenance of this
product. After installation, leave this manual in the machine for future reference.
The installation of this product (implementation, connections, commissioning, maintenance) and all other in-
terventions must be carried out by a professional applying the rules of the art, the standards and the safety
regulations in force. It must comply with EMC and LVD regulations.
We recommend that all persons exposed to risks scrupulously observe the accident prevention standards. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for any personal injury and/or material damage caused by non-compliance
with the safety instructions or by modifications to the product.
The JBRB ECOWATT® PR VCHV units are designed for CMV or air return applications in tertiary and
collective housing buildings:
• Indoor or outdoor installation
• Environmental temperature : -20°C / +50°C
• Relative humidity: max. 95% non-condensing
• Non potentially explosive atmosphere
• Low salinity atmosphere, no corrosive chemicals
1.2 Safety instructions
• Wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before any work is carried out.
• Before installing the ventilation unit, make sure that the support and the location are strong enough
to support the weight of the unit and any accessories.
• Do not open the access panels without disconnecting the power supply at the lockable disconnect
switch on the unit.

If work is to be done on the unit, turn off the power at the main circuit breaker and make sure that no
one can accidentally turn it on again.
• Make sure that the moving parts are stopped.
• Make sure that the motorized fan is not accessible from the connection ports. (connection duct or
screened protection).
Before starting the unit, check the following points:
• Make sure that the unit is free of foreign objects.
• Check that all components are secured in their original locations.
•
Manually check that the fans are not chafing or blocked.
• Check the ground connection.
• Check that the access cover is securely closed.
1.3 Reception - Storage
In case of lack, non-conformity, total or partial damage of the delivered products, the Buyer must, in ac-
cordance with article 133-3 of the Commercial Code, issue written reserves on the carrier's receipt and
confirm them within 72 hours by registered letter with a copy to the seller. The reception without reserve of
the material deprives the Buyer of any further recourse against us.
The product must be stored protected from bad weather, shocks and soiling due to projections of any kind
during its transport from the supplier to the final customer, and on the building site before installation.
