PR VCHV sizes 04 to 38 can be
installed with the cover down.
• A minimum air gap of 100 mm must be main-
tained between the unit and the horizontal sup-
porting structure.
• Horizontal discharge: unconditionally per-
mitted.
• Vertical discharge: allowed if connected to an
air duct system.
•
The fixing method of the unit must be dimen
-
sioned in such a way as to ensure that it is held
securely in the event of a fire.
3.5 Assembly of accessories
Circular discharge connection
Fix the flat spigot with a gasket using 6 self-drilling screws (not supplied).
For a unit not connected to the discharge, add a Chinese Cap (CP) to allow a 360° exhaust air outlet
around the vertical axis of the discharge. According to the NF DTU 68.3 P 1-1-1, the CP allows to be free
from wind effects and not to add 20 Pa of additional pressure drop.
