Torch Safety
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
When the torch is switched on, the following must be observed:
•
Do not look directly into the lens.
•
Do not shine into a person’s eyes or an animal’s eyes .
•
Do not point the beam at: cars, motorcycles, aircraft, ships or any other vehicle
or machinery that is operated by a person. Bright light can be blinding and you
could cause a serious accident.
•
Do not work with the cordless worklight in hazardous areas.
•
Do not cover the lamp head while operating the cordless worklight.
•
Before any work on the cordless worklight itself - e.g. assembling, maintenance,
as well as when transporting and storing, remove the battery from the cordless
worklight.
•
Do not allow children to use the cordless worklight. Children can unintentionally
blind themselves or other persons.
