USE
Intended use
•
The lawn trimmer is not intended for trimming grass. Never use the machine for
anything other than its intended purpose. The machine is only intended for
household use.
•
The charger must only be used with the type of battery recommended by the
manufacturer.
•
The machine must only be used for the purpose for which it is intended. All
other use is considered to be unsuitable.
Charge the battery
NOTE:
Charge the battery before using it for the first time and when the tool starts to lose
power.
1.
Connect the charger to a power point 230 V. The recommended optimum
charging temperature is 24°C.
2.
The red LED will illuminate to show the charger has power.
3.
Slide the battery into the charger (the battery is shaped to fit into the charger
one way only).
4.
After a few seconds delay, the red LED will flash to show that charging has
begun, then illuminate solid red.
5.
Whilst the battery is charging, the green LED will flash, (the red LED will go from
flashing to constant red).
6.
When the battery is fully charged when the green LED stops flashing and
remains a constant green. The red LED will extinguish.
Inserting/removing the battery
NOTE:
Remove the battery before maintenance, replacing accessories and/or
cleaning.
1.
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position.
2.
Press the battery lock on the end of the battery and remove the battery from
the machine.
3.
Align the battery ridges to the slots in the casing, and press the battery in place.
Press in the battery all the way until it clicks into place.
4.
Never attempt to force the battery in place. If it is not easy to press it in place, it
is not properly aligned.
