Ignition Module
The unit uses an ignition module to supply power
for the igniters. A 9VDC battery is used to supply
the power. Once the ignition switch is depressed,
voltage is sent to the igniters and a spark is
generated.
To access the ignition module:
1.
Access control panel components
(see Control Panel Components Access section).
Disconnect wiring and remove control panel.
2. Locate ignition module(s).
3. Remove two screws securing ignition module.
.
4. Slide module out and disconnect wiring.
5. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
Each position provides spark to a different
component of the grill. Verify the 9 VDC battery is
proper. If voltage is proper and no spark is present
at the igniter, check the switch, igniter, and wiring.
If all check good, replace the module.
