Attaching the starter
cable

NOTE
When adjusting the cutting
height, ensure that the left
and right axles are always
at the same cutting height
(axle is parallel to housing).
NOTE
When performing the front
wheel cutting height
adjustment, always ensure
that the adjustment lever
(I)
fully engages when
released.
•
Remove spark plug
socket from the engine.
Press and hold
L=
motorstop lever, to
release the engine brake.
Slowly pull out
B=
starter cable and hold.
Release the motorstop
lever again.
Hook starter cable into
3=
starter cable bracket (see
illustration).
Release starter cable
again.

Adjusting the cutting
height

There are 4 different cutting
height settings from
23
mm to
77
mm.
Level 1 = lowest cutting
height
Level 4 = highest cutting
height
Cutting height adjustment
Front axle :
the front wheel height
adjustment is located
next to the left drive
wheel.
Pull
I=
front wheel cutting height
adjustment lever gently
towards
H=
drive wheel and hold.
Select the desired cutting
height and then release
the front wheel cutting
height adjustment lever.

Cutting height adjustment
Rear axle :
Using both hands, pull
4=
rear axle in the direction
of the arrow (to the rear)
and hold.
Set the rear axle to the
desired cutting height
and then release slowly.

CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The cutting height settings
at the front and rear axles
must be identical (housing
is parallel to ground).
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The engine must be
switched off before
adjusting the cutting height.
NOTE
Top up engine oil before
initial start (see engine
instruction manual).
Engine oil
Please consult the engine
instruction manual for the type
of engine oil to be used and
the filling quantity.
Check engine oil level at
regular intervals (see engine
instruction manual).
Avoid exceeding or falling
below the correct oil level.
Fuel
Recommendation:
Fresh good quality fuel,
normal unleaded petrol (see
engine instruction manual).
Use a funnel when filling the
tank with fuel (not included in
standard equipment).
NOTE
The starter cable bracket
(3)
can be individually
adjusted along the handle-
bar (Torx 25 screwdriver
not included in standard
equipment).
