To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.
Glossary of terms related to oven cycles
Temperature offset
- This value is subtracted
from the setpoint to equal the temperature that
the oven heats to while cooking. This factor is
used to account for RTD temperature measure-
ment errors that occur due to lags and various
environmental effects in the oven such as the
effect of broil elements, convection fan speed,
etc.
Temperature Setpoint
- Desired temperature
for cooking modes with adjustable temperature
settings. The maximum setpoint temperature is
550F. The minimum temperature setpoint is
currently 150F.
Temperature reheat
- Overshoot of set tem-
perature after oven has preheated, then comes
back on for re-heating the oven.
