Fan Headers
There are three fan headers (Fan1, Fan 2 and Fan3) on the VIG385P. (See the table
on the right for pin definitions.) These are 4 -pin fan headers; however, the traditional
3-wire fans are also supported. (Pins#1-#3 of the fan headers are backward
compatible with the traditional 3 -pin fans.) When a 3 -wire fan is used, it will be set to
run at the full speed by default. When a 4-wire fan is used, the CPU and chassis fan
speeds will be automatically controlled by the control circuit inside the fan based
upon the CPU temperature.
Power LED
The Power LED header is located on JLED. This header provides LED indication of
power being supplied to the system. See the table on the right for
pin defi nitions.
Wake-On-LAN
The Wake-On-LAN header is designated WOL. See the table below for pin
definitions. You must enable the LAN Wake-Up setting in BIOS to use this feature.
You must also have a LAN card with a Wake-on-LAN connector and cable.
