Notes / Comments

1.

Ensure the field supplied transformer is sized appropriately to accommodate the load of the zone valves.

2.

The transformer/zone valves will only have power when the boiler is powered. Therefore if the power supply to the boiler is turned off for service, all zone valves/thermostats will be inactive.

3.

This application can also be achieved through the use of a zone valve multi-zone control as shown in application #3.
