5.10.4 What to do if there may be a leak
DANGER
Leaks can release oil, steam and exhaust
gas!
Risk to life due to scalding or
poisoning
► No naked flames. Do not smoke.
► Ventilate the area adequately.

Close the gas shut-off facility if gas is escaping.
●
Shut down the machine.
●
Leave the danger zone.
●
Wear personal protective equipment
(e.g. protective gloves, safety goggles).
●
Call your service partner.

Substances used to operate the EM-530/660
(versions SCR and SCR-ready):
●
Engine cooling circuit: Approx. 38 % glycol/water
mixture.
●
Batteries: Battery acid.
●
Oil tank and engine: Lubricating oil.
●
Exhaust gas post-treatment in the SCR version:
AdBlue
TM
5.11 Faults and troubleshooting
In the event of an operating fault, the plain text fault
message will be shown on the screen (Fig. 22, pos. 1)
and the red "Error" LED (Fig. 21, pos. 1) lights up.
Note
If a menu was being displayed at the time of the fault
message, the F7 function key must be pressed in
order to show the fault message in plain text on the
display.

Acknowledging the fault with the F8 function key
(1) Rectify the fault if possible; to do so, check the
operating values (current operating data,
operating fluids)
(2) Acknowledge the fault with the F8 function key.
(3) If the fault cannot be corrected/acknowledged,
contact your service partner.
(4) If the EMERGENCY STOP button has been
pressed, unlock it with the corresponding switch
key.
(5) Resume operation according to section 5.1
