Danger
Risk of burning on hot components.
Switch off the boiler and let it cool down.
Danger
Working on a running fan can cause serious
injury.
Turn off the boiler and safeguard against restart-
ing.
Note
The flue gas fan requires cleaning in the following
cases:

Vibration noises due to impeller imbalance (deposits
on the impeller vanes)
■
If the boiler output decreases
1.
Disconnect plug

2.
Undo the screws on flue gas fan

and pull out
motor

with the impeller.
3.
Clean the impeller, fan housing and flue outlet with
a spatula and ash vacuum cleaner.
4.
Check the impeller for visible damage and replace
if required.
5.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Checking gaskets
1.
Clean the gaskets on all doors and cleaning covers
and check for damage.
Replace any damaged gaskets.
Note
If replacing the gaskets in the hopper cover,
observe the installation information sheet included
with the replacement gaskets.
