Function
Load controller to prevent electrical power being fed into the public grid when a CHP module is being
operated in mains parallel mode.
Power modulation:
A value for the power still to be drawn from the public grid can be freely entered.
The CHP module generates power and heat simultaneously. During power modulation there may be
insufficient or excess heat.
With an adjustable start threshold (e.g. load 60 kW
el
), the CHP module is selected via a zero volt contact.
The module is subsequently regulated to the set minimum load (e.g. 10 kW
el
), using a default value (0 -
20 mA equates to 50 - 100 % electrical module output).
The digital display shows the current load (e.g. 10 kW
el
), the actual output demand (e.g. 60 kW
el
) and the
module default value (e.g. 50 kW
el
).
If the load drawn from the grid increases (actual output demand), the module is modulated up to the
maximum output. If the load drawn from the grid drops, the module output is reduced down to the
minimum output (50 %) and shut down at an adjustable stop threshold (e.g. load 30 kW
el
).
Please note that values below the minimum output value (50 %) cannot be regulated.
Furthermore, please note that a minimum load drawn from the grid or a minimum control grid feed-in
is always selected. If the module is regulated to exactly zero grid load, a "mains power failure" can no
longer be detected and at "power supply restoration", this would lead to asynchronous control.
