System characteristics

Cause

Measure

Container overflowing or fault
message triggered by overflow
alarm switch (if installed)

■ No voltage at power

supply

■ Check power sup-

ply

■ Filter basket contami-

nated

■ Non-return valve con-

taminated

■ Clean component,

replace if required

■ Fuse in the control unit

blown

■ Level switch faulty.
■ Pump faulty

Replace component

■ The switching point of

the level switch or
overflow alarm switch
is too high (air pocket
in pressure tube may
have escaped).

■ Remove switch

briefly to vent the
pressure tube

■ Condensate supply

volume exceeds the
system output

■ Check the pump

rate by means of
volumetric measur-
ing, if required in-
stall a larger or ad-
ditional condensate
lifting system

■ Delivery head at drain

too large

■ Check pump rate or

delivery head

Feed pump starts repeatedly
even though no condensate is
flowing

■ Non-return valve is

contaminated or dam-
aged (causing conden-
sate return)

■ Drain and undo the

drain hose. Remove
non-return valve
with a pair of poin-
ted pliers and clean,
replace if required

!

Please note

The feed pump is equipped with an automatically resetting temperature lim-
iter. The feed pump motor is switched off in the event of overheating and
starts again automatically when it has cooled down sufficiently.
The cause for overheating must be remedied. Further operation without
remedying the cause leads to the destruction of the temperature limiter and
pump motor damage.
