7  Common operations

7.1  Playback of a recording

To playback a recording, it is necessary to stop recording (press “STOP” and then press
“PLAY”.
When PLAY is pressed, the following will appear on the display, showing the two playback
modes.

TIME SEARCH:

 this is used to playback the recording from a certain time onwards. If the

DVR was not recording at that time, playback will be impossible and there will be an error
message. To insert the exact date/time, follow the instructions in the on-screen menu.

EVENT LIST:

 this is used to playback the recording from the time when an event occurred

(motion, recording, switch on...).

During playback of the recording, the top right corner will show playback mode
(“MUX” or “QUAD”). This immediately shows whether it is possible to playback
the recording for a single input video or only for four simultaneous recordings.

Keys (11) and (14) can be used during playback to fast-forward or fast-rewind through the
recording ( from 2X to 16X).

Key (13) is used to pause playback and advance by a single frame each time this key is
pressed.
