6.5.2 Connection 

6.5.2.1 Cable 

The Basic Dome series has two communication modes: RS232 and Bi-phase.  
The DCJ console, on the other hand, communicates in RS485 mode. This is why piloting BOSCH systems 
requires additional protocol converters. 
For further details see the example in the illustration.
