Drive belts tension adjustment:
◼
Ensure the belts are cold.
◼
Remove the pulley cover (1).
◼
Untighten the flange mounting bolts (2 & 3).
◼
Untighten the four gearbox mounting bolts (4).
◼
Untighten both securing nuts (5) of both tensioning bolts (6 & 8).
◼
Use the tensioning bolts to move the driveshaft assembly vertically until the belt tension is
correct. Move both sides simultaneously.
◼
Ensure that the driveshaft assembly aligns parallel with the mower's top side. Correct if
necessary.
◼
Tighten nuts (2, 3 & 4).
◼
Secure all nuts (5) of both tensioning bolts.
◼
Install the pulley cover.

Remove the tractor’s ignition key and put it in your pocket before
checking and adjusting the belts.
•
Never run the machine with the pulley cover removed.
