Maintenance

Check Fuel System Components

Fuel system hoses & connections - Inspect fuel hoses

for cracks or damage. Inspect hose connections at the

fuel tank and at the fuel rail for dampness or stains

from leaks.

Evaporative Emission Control System

Visually inspect all evaporative emission control

system hoses and connections. Make sure all

connections are tight. Inspect connections at the

evaporative emissions canister to be sure they are

secure. The canister (1) is located on the left side of

the motorcycle near the oil cooler.
