In summary, if the PRESET menu is turned “ON,” then only the areas
already designated at the time of manufacturing can be applied with the
BLC function. They cannot be changed. When the PRESET menu is
turned “OFF,” the areas that were previously designated are applied with
the BLC function. These previously designated areas can be changed and
new areas can be chosen.
7) After setting up of the areas in which the BLC function can be applied,
exit from the BLC menu by selecting the “RET” menu.
Controlling Automatic Gain (AGC)
In the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) menu, you can designate the gain
to be controlled automatically or not to be controlled at all. If you want
the gain controlled automatically, then move the cursor to the “AGC”
menu by using the Up/Down switches and select “ON” by using the
Right/Left switches. If you do not want the gain controlled automatically,
select “OFF.”
