4. Insert the end of the cable through the cable entry fitting and thread the nut onto the fitting. Tighten the
sealing nut firmly and secure the cable.
5. Strip off 1.5 inches (4 cm) of the outer cable covering. Remove approximately 0.25 inches (0.6 cm) of
insulation from the end of each of the conductors.
6. Wire the conductors to the appropriate screw terminals on screw terminal TB6 (pan-and-tilt) and TB5 (lens)
on the receiver main board. Refer to Figure 4 and Table 13 and 7.
7. Tighten the screws on the terminal blocks to secure the wires and secure the cables with the cable ties
provided.

Video Input and Control from Transmitter Connections
Video from the camera enters the receiver via the video input BNC connector. The video output connector routes
that video to the transmitter/monitor. The control signals from the transmitter enter the receiver via the video
output connector.
Video In and Video Out Connections
Connect the video cable from the camera to one of the BNC connectors on the receiver PCB. Refer to Figure 4.
Connect the cable from the second BNC connector to the VIDEO IN connector on the Vicoax II V1422
transmitter. For NOVA control systems, make sure control signal connections are complete.
Control Settings
The receiver has three (3) control switches on the PCB, a 2-pole MODE switch, an 8-pole OPTION/address
switch and a push button. There is also an LED that indicates the successful completion of certain operations.
The ON direction is marked on the switches. The MODE switch has four (4) states:
0 - normal operation
1 - option 1
2 - option 2
3 - test mode.
When both poles of the MODE switch are OFF (0), the OPTION switch selects the address of the receiver. The
receiver only responds to serial communication when these switches are off. The V1305R-DC1 can be set to any
address between 1 and 255, provided that no other receiver on the data line is given the same address. The
V1305R-DC2 in all circumstances should only be addressed as 1. When the MODE switches are set to 1 or 2,
configuration options can be set.
