Introduction
The NOVA V1400 is a microprocessor-based CCTV control system designed by Vicon to meet large system
requirements. The system contains six card slots with connectors accessible from the rear. These cards are
listed below, in card slot order from top to bottom, and shown in Figure 1.
Card slot 1
V1400X-GM-M Global Memory, no connections.
Card slot 2 V1400X-SV-M System Supervisor, coordinates activities of other CPUs.
Card slot 3 V1400X-CI-M Control Interface, provides receiver connections.
Card slot 4 V1400X-VC-M Video Switcher, provides connections to video switching equipment.
Card slot 5 V1400X-AC-M Alarm Control, provides local alarm connections.
Card slot 6 V1400X-TC-M Time/Date/Titler, provides outputs to TDT card cages.
