Driving on
headlands
The rotor can be raised for crossing swaths that have already been
harvested.
Using the tractor's single-acting hydraulic control device, raise the
machine to the headland position in order to travel over the swaths.
Turn the tractor with the machine so as not to fall below the
steering angle of 90 degrees.
Using the tractor's single-acting hydraulic control device, lower the
machine again to create a new swath.
The PTO shaft must not be switched off when driving on headlands.
Angle never
smaller than 90°!
Check the angle of lock
The angle between the tractor and machine must never be less
than 90°. The top PTO shaft can become buckled. Compressed
PTO shafts may cause damage to the machine.
