Carrier Waveform Controls and Settings
Signal Control Button
The Signal Control Button starts and stops the playback of a waveform file
(Waveform Mode) or turns the acquisition of a live signal on or off Continuous Wave
(CW) Mode.
Press to play waveform or turn on signal acquisition.
Press to stop waveform playback or turn off signal acquisition.
Frequency Field
This field defines the frequency of the outgoing signal (Continuous Wave (CW)
Mode) or the frequency at which a waveform is played (Waveform Mode).
Level Field
This field defines the power level of the outgoing signal (Continuous Wave (CW)
Mode) or the power level at which a waveform is played (Waveform Mode).
Port Menu
The Port Menu selects the Generator RF Output Connector where the signal is being
output. The Generator Output Port should be selected based on the type of signal
being generated.
RF Output Connector
The RF Output Connector provides the maximum RF output level from the RF
Generator.
RF Duplex Connector
The RF Duplex Connector can be used to generate and receive simultaneously using
the same RF connector. This port is limited to signals below 6 GHz.
