USE
• When using the Fruiti Freeze for the first time, be sure
that all packing material has been removed, including
any material that may be inside the chute. Also, wash the
plunger, chute, auger, nozzle and chute assembly cover in
warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly.
• Begin with fruit that has been completely frozen. Allow to
thaw slightly. Thaw time depends on type and size of fruit.
Berries should thaw for around five minutes, while larger
fruit such as peaches may need to thaw 15-20 minutes.
• Place the unit on a dry, stable surface before use.
• Be sure the power cord is tucked away so that nothing can
pull on it. Be sure the plug and outlet are a safe distance
from any water source. Plug in the unit.
• Remove the plunger from the chute and place a container
for your treat on the tray and underneath the nozzle.
• Turn the unit on.
• Slowly insert frozen fruit into the chute without overfilling.
• Do not place thick skins, tough cores, fruit pits, ice, or
honey into the Fruiti Freeze. Fruits with thick skins, tough
cores and pits must have these removed before being
placed in the unit. This is most easily done before the fruit
is frozen.
• Use the plunger to firmly push the fruit through the chute.
Applying too much pressure can damage the unit, so apply
just enough firm pressure to feed the fruit through the
auger.
• You may add sugar, seasonings, and spices along with the
fruit so that the ingredients are well blended with the fruit.
