Chapter 4

8. Select the 

Typical

 option to install drivers and applications.

9. Click 

Next

 button to continue.

10. The system will automatically install all mainboard’s drivers, 

sound and modem applications. It will restart the system few 
times until the installation is completed.

Other Install Options

There are three installation options, Typical, Compact and Custom.
They are defined as follows and install the software in sequence:

Typical

:

Devices drivers – Sound, Modem
Utility software – Gamut, SuperVoice, Audio Rack 

Compact

:

Devices drivers – Sound, Modem

Custom

:

Allows you to select options from another window. When you 
select 

Custom

 and click on the 

Next

 button, the following window

appears. Select which items you want to install by clicking on them
and then click on the 

Next

 button to proceed with the installation

There are some utilities that you have to manually install if you 
need, check to the above section.

Using the PCI Sound Pro Application

1. Before you install the PCI Sound Pro drivers, make sure your 

Operating System has been installed, otherwise the PCI Sound
