7 Dismantling
• Switch off the power.
• Turn off the water supply to the toilet.
• Drain the drainpipe thoroughly.
• Disconnect all supply and drain pipes.
If the lid of the SAPRO has been opened moisten the rubber
seal with liquid soap or detergent before resealing it.

9 Faults
Make sure that the power is disconnected when carrying out any necessary repairs.
Fault
The motor starts spontaneously
The water is pumped out of the toilet too
slowly
The motor runs continuously or for a
long time
The motor will not start
The motor makes a ‘rattling’ noise
The motor makes a noise but does not
run (does not pump)
The motor starts but stops spontane-
ously
Possible cause
The toilet is running or taps are dripping
The non-return valve is faulty
The filter basket is blocked
The air vent pipe is blocked
The vertical lift is too high / There is too
much water flushing through / There are
too many bends in the installation
The filter basket is blocked
The equipment is not connected or the
power supply is faulty
The fuse has blown
The motor is faulty
There is an object in the filter basket
which is hitting the turning knives

Solution
Check and repair the toilet or the taps
(replace the gaskets)
