7. PRE - RIDE SAFETY CHECKLIST

CHECKLIST:

WHEELS 
1) Check the conditions of both tires. Tires must be free from cracks, punctures and deformations.
2) Check the tires pressure. This also depends on the weight of the rider. We recommend 20-25 psi (1.4-1.7 bar). for each tire.
3) Make sure the wheels nuts are tight and secured.
4) Check the alignment of the wheels and the correct position of the derailleur 

1) Check that the battery has being inserted properly into the frame. Push the battery till you hear the sound click.
2) Check the charge status of the battery.

BRAKING SYSTEM

LIGHTING
Check whether the front and rear light are working properly. 
For yours and other people's safety do not cover any light or reflector.

DANGER! Use the following checklist before each ride to check your bike is safe to ride. Never operate without 
checking the following list first. Make sure the brakes have being applied on the bike. If the power is ON, the e-bike       
will start moving once you put your feet on pedals. So pay attention and read the instructions before riding.

BATTERY

Pull both brake levers and block the bike back and forth. The bike should not roll and the brakes pads should stay firmly in place.    
If the brakes are not feeling firm please have a bicycle mechanic check them.
