2.5 Inspection and commissioning of the system after installation

Leave your temporary protection of the protective space in the shaft until you are

explicitly

requested to remove it by the drain!

Switch on the voltage to the system.

The

r

ailoc

remains extended and the green light signals safe status.

Approach the

r

ailoc

with the car or counterweight during inspection travel and stop

approx. 1m in front.

Check that the inspection limit switch is operated reliably when driving on.

Check by measuring that the latch of the railoc actually hits the stop provided for this

purpose on the car or counterweight.

Also check that the stop can pass the latch in the retracted position without colliding with

it.

Now remove your temporary shelter.

Leave the shaft and close all doors.

Make sure that there is no one left in the shaft.

Disable the landing calls and switch the system to normal operation. The return to

normal operation must require a RESET of the safety relay! The

r

ailoc

  begins to retract

after its actuation. When the process is completed, the safety contact on the

r

ailoc

finally releases normal travel.

Issue calls to the terminal stops and check that the system runs without collisions during

normal travel.

Go to one of the monitored landing doors and open it using the emergency release. The

signal lamp lights up red and the railoc extends. Observe the smooth running of this

process and the subsequent switching of the signal light to green.

The temporary shelter is now established and the shaft can be entered.

Repeat this procedure and check the proper functioning of all necessary emergency

unlocking monitors of the landing doors.

Then carry out an inspection travel and check that the travel movement is reliably

stopped by the inspection limit switch.

Leave the car, close the doors and switch the system back to normal operation by

pressing the RESET button.
