storage for a long period of time, such as through the winter.

Step 1:

Thoroughly clean area around filter to keep contaminants out of the
hydraulic system.

Step 2:

Use a filter wrench to turn the filter counterclockwise and remove.

Step 3:

Clean the filter head surface.

Step 4:

Apply thin film of oil to gasket of new filter.

WARNING: Hot fluid under pressure can scald.

Allow engine to cool before opening radiator cap.
