Common for the Receiver
Depending on the value in the Receiver Mode parameter (see page 27), the video
parameters of the S1970e-R are located in up to five pages:
„
Solo—All video parameters are located in a single page.
„
Quad or Guard Tour—The parameters commmon to all the video functions of the
receiver are presented in the Video page; the parameters for each of the four decoders
are displayed in a separate page, in a structure under the Video menu (see page 29).
The following parameters are those appearing in Solo mode; some will also be displayed in
the other modes:

Video Standard—The analog display standard.
„
Deblocking Filter—To enable or disable the filtering of block-shaped artifacts in the
video. Enable it to remove blocking artifacts; disable it if you are losing packets while
viewing 4CIF video. This parameter appears only when the receiver is in Solo mode.
„
Brightness—The total amount of light in a color.
„
Contrast—The range of colors in the image.
„
Saturation—The intensity of the colors in the image.
„
Deinterlacing Mode—To enable or disable the deinterlacing filter applied before video
rendering. This filter removes interlaced artifacts for display at frame rates under 30 fps
in NTSC (25 fps in PAL). This parameter appears only when the receiver is in Solo
mode.
„
Remote IP Address—The IP address of the transmitter providing the video stream to the
receiver. This parameter appears only when the receiver is in Solo mode.
