You have made the right decision, by purchasing the V-Move XL+.
You are now in the possession of an excellent tool that has been constructed and produced with the
greatest care.
You will profit the most from this investment, if you carefully observe the safety,
user and maintenance instructions provided in this user manual.
The user manual should be made available to the user of the V-Move XL+ and must be present at the
V-Move XL+ when it is being used. The user manual must have been read by anyone working with/at
the V-Move XL+, and the instructions must be observed.
Warranty
Verhagen Leiden B.v. will not assume responsibility for the goods it produced and the services it
supplied. Warranty can only be claimed if the client has made an immediate complaint and Verhagen
Leiden B.v. has been given the opportunity to investigate the complaints and correct possible faults.
Verhagen Leiden B.v. provides a warranty on its products in relation to materials and construction
defects. In case of defects as described above, Verhagen Leiden B.v. shall undertake to provide the
parts manufactured by them for free, within the period of one year after delivery.
To occasions, different warranty conditions apply. Verhagen Leiden B.v. will not be liable for damage
and indirect damage as a result of natural disasters, operational errors, lack of skilful maintenance and
any other use than described below.
The liability of Verhagen Leiden B.v. will also terminate as soon as you or a third party performs work,
such as adaptations or extensions, to the machine, without our written permission.
The warranty conditions only apply if a defect, after investigation by the manufacturer, is recognized as
such.
At Verhagen Leiden B.v. we continuously try to improve our products and service. That is why we
reserve the right to change the specifications stated in this user manual at any required moment and
without prior notice.
Definitions
In this user manual we use the following definitions:
Operator:
The person who drives, controls and supervises the operation of the V-
Move XL+ and is able to start and stop it, etc.
It is the company's responsibility to make sure that the operator is suffi-
ciently trained.
Dangerous areas:
The area surrounding the V-Move XL+ where people may get injured.
Maintenance mechanic:
The person who is completely familiar with the V-Move XL+, is able to
adjust the safety devices and to maintain the V-Move XL+.
The maintenance mechanic is familiar with the functionalities, safety
standards and was trained to maintain the V-Move XL+. It is the company's
responsibility to make sure that maintenance staff has been sufficiently ed-
ucated and trained.
Safety symbols
On various places on the V-Move XL+ you will find standardized safety symbol stickers as
displayed to the right.
The upper part warns against a general or particular hazard.
The lower part indicates what type of hazard is being warned against and will explain what
you must do.
