iii. Note that the higher the speed setting the higher the power
available.
d. Forward/Reverse switch –
i. This switch toggles between forward and reverse.
e. Horn –
i. This push switch sounds the horn
f. Ignition –
i. The ignition switch is key-operated.
ii. Remember to remove the ignition key when the tricycle is left
unattended.
g. Battery indicator –
i. The battery indicator gives a visual
display of the condition of the
battery.
ii. When fully charger all lamps will be
lit. As the battery is used the green
lamps will be extinguished.
5. Accelerator –
i. The accelerator is incorporated into the right hand handle.
ii. To change speed, twist the grip slowly. Depending on the speed
control selection the tricycle can respond quickly.
ii. Note: Stop the scooter before operating this switch.
iii. When both green lamps are extinguished the battery should be
charged. The scooter will also begin to lose power.
