DJUSTMENT
Park machine on a level surface.
Shut off engine and engage the park brake.
Remove ignition key from switch and allow
engine to cool.
Open primary engine access to access the drive
belt.
Check the distance between the coils of the PTO
clutch belt spring (B). The coils should have a
slight separation between them.
If there is not a gap between the coils then the
belt requires additional tensioning. Pull outward
on the belt tension adjustment handle (C) and
place handle in notch setting that allows for the
coils to have a slight separation.

EPLACEMENT
Park machine on a level surface.
Shut off engine and engage the park brake.
Remove ignition key from switch and allow
engine to cool.
Release all tension from the belt tension adjust-
ment handle (C) by moving the handle all the
way in.
Open primary engine access to access the drive
belt (A).
Disconnect the clutch wire from harness, and
disconnect the clutch strap at location shown (D).
Remove drive belt from idler pulley, then from
around clutch.
Install the new belt following the removal steps
in reverse order.
