This section shows the values emerged from the analysis carried out. Such values have been compared to the limits set by law with
reference to the toxicity of the compounds during short-term exposure. This kind of exposure has been taken into consideration because
anti-theft smoke systems are meant for environments where maximum stay is 15 minutes after smoke activation. For such reason, the
limits written in the table are referred to those in Annex XXXVIII of LD 81/2008 in transposition to the EU Directive 2017/164 with reference
to TLV-STEL (Threshold Limit Value – short-term exposure limit); for the analytes not considered in the norm written above, limits TLV-STEL
of ACGIH are applied.

The results above highlight that the smoke generated by burning process of the smoke capsule under object, in a medium-sized
environment, do not cause toxicity in case of brief expositions (15 minutes maximum).
All values prove to lay within the limits related to Annex XXXVIII of LD 81/2008 in transposition to EU Directive 2017/164 and to those
related to ACGIH with reference to TLV-STEL (Threshold Limit Value – short-term exposure limit).
However, after every discharge of the smoke system, it is necessary to ventilate the room before occupying it for medium-long periods.
SMOKE CAPSULE DISPOSAL
After proper use, dispose of in accordance with authority regulations of the country where the pyrotechnic article has been used. In the
event of malfunction, destroy the product following the instructions on the UE Type-Examination Original CERTIFICATE.
