OPEN COLLECTOR OUTPUT
During normal operation, the open collector output voltage is 0V. In the event of an anomaly, the open collector output becomes free. In
this way it is possible to interface ONDA VF with other devices such as alarm control panels by just connecting the open collector to an
alarm input set as normally closed.

CONDITIONS FOR SMOKE SYSTEM ACTIVATION
PRE-ALARM AND ALARM INPUTS
PRE-ALARM input sets the board to warning mode: this input can be connected to an alarm output of a control panel and can be set to
normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) and positive or negative through DIP SWITCHES 4 and 5. The board waits for the confirmation
from ALARM input, which can be connected to an infrared sensor, a magnetic contact or to any device that can confirm the necessity of
a smoke discharge. This input is normally closed (NC) and can be set to positive or negative through DIP SWITCH 4. If ALARM input is not
used, just leave the terminal free.
Timing (DIP SWITCH 1 and 2) is activated after a confirmation from PRE-ALARM and ALARM inputs. If timing is set as immediate, smoke
will be discharged immediately and it cannot be stopped in any way. On the contrary, if a timing is set (5, 10, 15 seconds), smoke discharge
can be stopped by setting PRE-ALARM input into resting mode. ALARM input can never reset timing nor stop smoke discharge.
