e. Enabling/Disabling the VOX and Sensitivity
•
In the main screen, press the

key. "VOX" will appear.

Next, press the

key to move the arrow on the selectable item "ON" or "OFF".

Here, you can also change the sensitivity. Press the

key to move the arrow down on the symbol.

key to increase or decrease the sensitivity level. The higher the level, the lower the VOX
(MIC) sensitivity and vice versa.

f. Selecting the Call Tone

g. The Monitoring Function (MON)

In the main screen, press the

When the monitoring function is enabled, only SQ and VOL are activated.
•
Press the
key to close the monitoring function and to return to normal status.
h. Auto-scan of the Sub Code
•
In the main screen, press the

key. "SCAN ON?" will appear.

Next, press the

key to select "UP" or "DOWN".
•

key to confirm the scan direction
•
Both channel and sub code will be scanned. Scanning will stop the moment it finds a similar channel and sub code.
•
Press the
key to confirm and stop the scanning. If you do not press the
key, scanning will take place again.
Switch off the scanning function when you do not want to scan over again.
6. Points of Interest
•
The display will be lit for about 8 seconds once a key is pressed.
•
When the menu is opened, it will return to the main screen automatically after 5 seconds of non operation.
•
Press and hold the

key to select the channel, sub code, etc. sequentially.
