Notes
•
Before measurement, disconnect the test leads from the meter.
•
In some occasions that the reading is hard to read, press the D-hold
button and read the result later.
10.3
RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
Do not conduct resistance measurements on live circuits. Make sure
all capacitors in the circuit are depleted.
1.
Connect the black test lead to the “COM”
jack and the red test lead to

” jack.
2.
Set the selection switch to the desired “
” position.
3.
Press the selection button to choose the

measurement.
4.
Connect the test leads across the source under measurement.
5.
Read the value on the LCD display.
Notes
•
If the resistance being measured is connected to a circuit, turn off the
power and discharge all capacitors before applying the test probes.
•
An over-range is indicated by OL.

DIODE MEASUREMENT
Do not conduct diode measurements on live circuits. Make sure all
capacitors in the circuit are depleted.
