IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Velamp is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of the product.
• Do not place the flood light into water. Never expose the light to a direct water jet (garden
hose for example). Never place in water. IP66

Keep away from water or rain for proper use. The perfect working temperature is between
5 °C and 40 °C
•
Any cleaning and maintenance operation must be done disconnecting the unit from the mains
with the switch on the “off” position.
•
Once the product is out of operation, do not open or repair unless by qualified operator.
•
This is not a TOY. Keep out of the reach of children.
•
Keep away from chemical products and sources of heat.
•
This item is water resistant but do not immerse or use on a floating platform.
•
Do not put weights inside the lamp
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open or remove any parts.
FUNCTION
To activate the luminous ball
Put the “ON/OFF” button (2) on the “ON” position: from this moment it is possible to turn on
/ off / operate the sphere with the supplied remote control or directly through the “COLOUR
SELECTION” button (1) situated underneath the sphere.
Automatic function and solar recharging
When the lamp is operable with the remote control:
- The light will automatically turn on when it is dark.
- The light will automatically turn off at dawn.
This cycle will be repeated every day.
In this mode, the lamp is reacharged by the sun.
You can turn on / off / change the colour of the light using the remote control.
To deactivate the luminous ball
Put the “ON/OFF” button (2) on the “OFF” position to definitively switch off the sphere.
Neither solar charging nor remote control will be possible after this. It is advised to do this
at the end of the season.
POSITIONING OF THE LAMP AND SOLAR CHARGING
Carefully remove the lamp from its packaging.
Insert the spike into the hexagonal hole (bottom of the lamp), then fix the lamp in the
ground.
IMPORTANT: The Lamp must receive as much sunlight as possible. Place the lamp in a
sunny spot to receive at least 8 hours of sunshine in order for the battery to fully recharge.
The positioning of the product will affect the duration of its illumination:
- 8 hours of sunshine will allow the lamp to light up for 6 hours.
- In the winter months or on rainy days: as the sun will not be powerful enough to properly
recharge the lamp’s battery, its light will normally only last for a few minutes.
SWITCHING ON AND CHANGING LAMP COLOURS THROUGH THE “COLOUR SELEC-
TION” BUTTON (1) UNDERNEATH THE SPHERE:
•
To switch on the lamp, press and hold the button (1 ) located at the bottom of the product
for 3 seconds.
•
Selecting colour:
X1 (3 seconds) = ON + Uniform mode: RGB / OFF
X2 = warm white
X3 = red
X4 = green
X5 = blue
X6 = yellow
X7 = purple
X8 = cyan
X9 = pink
X10 = Flash mode: fast color change.
X11 = Smooth mode: slow color change

First remove the small plastic sheet from the battery cover before the first operation.

REPLACING REMOTE CONTROL BATTERIES:
•
Removing the old battery: Press the tab on the side of the battery cover and slide the cover
away from the remote control.
•
Make sure the new battery (CR2025) is inserted paying attention to polarities.
In accomplishment of the Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE,
relating to the reduction of the usage of dangerous materials into the electronic ,
electric appliances and also to the waste disposal. The symbol of the crossed bin
which is on the device or on the packaging signifies that the product at the end of its
working life must be collected separately from the other waste materials. Therefore,
the user will have to give the appliance at the end of his life to the appropriate centers for the se-
parate collection of electronic and electro technical wastes, or give it back to the retailer while
purchasing a new device of equivalent kind. The appropriate separate collection for the following
sending of the unused appliance to the waste recycling, to the treatment and to the disposal com-
patible with the environment contributes to avoid possible negative effects on the environment
and on the health and contributes the reuse and / or recycling of the materials with which the
appliance is made of. The unauthorized disposal of the product by the user involves the applica-
tion of the sanctions based on current regulations of law. For further information related to the
collecting systems contact local competent authorities.

GUARANTEE CLAUSES
1. The product is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials
and manufacturing
2. Excluded from the guarantee are: the esthetic components, the batteries, the knobs, the LEDs,
the bulbs, removable parts subject to wear, damage due to negligence, use, incorrect installation
or installation not in accordance with the warnings in the instruction manual or however caused
by phenomena outside the normal operations of the product. In particular, and as an example,
note that the cutting of the power cord of the transformer or the fact of forgetting to recharge the
lead batteries of the products which use them invalidate the guarantee.
